Wir arbeiten auf Hochtouren, damit bis zur offiziellen Eröffnung am 10. Juni alles fertig wird. Diese Woche wurden im mittleren Stock im Gang die letzten Böden neu verlegt und somit kann endlich ein Haken unter das Kapitel "Gänge" gesetzt werden. Es war ziemlich viel Fläche und ziemlich viel zu tun... fangen wir mit den vielen Bildern ganz oben an, wo auch als erstes renoviert wurde. Hinzu kam jüngst nur noch die Teeküche und der Kronleuchter.

We work like crazy to get everything done until the official openin on June10. This week we finished the floors in the hallway on the middle floor and now I can mark the chapter "hallways" as complete. It was all in all much surface and much work ... let's start with the pictures on the upper floor and move downwards. We renovated that very early, new are the tea kitchen and the chandelier.

Und wieder ist es eine Ewigkeit her, dass ich hier was geschrieben habe. Wahrscheinlich habe ich einige, die das lesen, bereits persönlich zugejammert: es ist grad viel los. Und die Tage bis zum Stichtag der offiziellen Eröffnung am 10. Juni sind gezählt. Vorher ist noch einiges zu tun. Planung von Veranstaltungen, der Empfang der ersten Gäste, Treffen mit Kooperationspartnern, Details wie das Beschriften von Lichtschaltern und Türen, damit sich Gäste besser zurecht finden... Und Renovierung und Baustelle sind natürlich auch noch ein großes Thema. Wie man sieht, wurde im Außenbereich das letzte Großprojekt in Angriff genommen. Dazu lohnt sich aber ein Extra-Beitrag, sobald wir fertig sind.

And again a lot of time has passed since I have been writing here. I have probably been moaning in front of many people who read this: there is so much to do right now. And the days until the cutoff date on June 10th are limited. Planning events, hosting first guests, meeting cooperation partners, details like labelling everything in the house that guests find things better... and most importantly, renovating. This is still a topic. As you can see on the first two pictures, we have tackled the last big project. Once finished, it will deserve an extra blog entry.
